Job summary

TAI is seeking an Instrument Technician to provide hands-on technical leadership at client sites in Linthicum, MD. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and commission instrumentation and control systems to keep industrial operations safe, accurate, and efficient.

This role spans process, utility, and control environments with direct client-facing responsibilities. You’ll support calibration programs and system reliability from startup through ongoing maintenance, working across Maryland,

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years as Instrument Technician in power, chemical, wastewater or water sectors.
Experience with calibration and instrumentation like flow, temp, pressure, and analytical devices.
Knowledge of Allen Bradley RS Logix preferred or certified.
Ability to install impulse tubing and project instrumentation at client sites.

Responsibilities

Install, program, troubleshoot, commission and calibrate instrumentation (pressure, temp, level, flow).
Perform calibration of systems including boilers, chillers, water and wastewater equipment.
Provide technical support and create calibration procedures or work plans.
Complete calibration certificates and approvals as needed.
