Job summary

TAI is seeking an Instrument/Calibration Technician to calibrate, commission, troubleshoot, maintain and repair complex instrumentation across manufacturing and laboratory facilities in the Baltimore-Washington DC metro area, with occasional travel to DE/PA/VA/NJ. This hands-on role supports safe, compliant operations and requires working with a range of process, utility, and control systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Instrument, Metrology, or Calibration Tech in related industry.
• Experience servicing I&C equipment in Biopharmaceutical sites preferred.
• Know-how calibrating instruments including autoclaves, incubators, freezers and BMS/BAS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain calibration standards and complete calibrations per procedures.
• Create calibration procedures and monthly schedules.
• Provide technical support for calibration processes and documentation.
• Calibrate instrumentation across manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
• Assist in equipment qualification as needed.
