Job summary

Arbon Equipment, a Rite-Hite Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, repair, and install customer equipment in the Columbia, SC area. You will travel to sites, diagnose issues, and ensure service quality that aligns with Rite-Hite’s standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 1–5 years in hydraulic, mechanical, or electrical equipment repair, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–5 years of experience repairing and servicing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, schematics, and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, repair, maintenance, and installation of customer equipment in the field.
• Guide less experienced technicians and share knowledge on proper field installation and safety procedures.
• Complete field tickets, timesheets, and safety analyses accurately using handheld devices or paper forms.
