Job summary

Arbon Equipment Corporation in Columbia, SC, seeks a Field Service Technician to perform installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of customer equipment in the field. You’ll work with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, travel occasionally, and ensure service quality that exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities include documentation, safety compliance, and mentoring peers as skills grow. Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT medical exams are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and ability to pass DOT medical exam.
• Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, blueprints and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, and repair of equipment in the field.
• Maintain and document service records and tickets.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations and exceed customer expectations.
• Mentor other technicians as skills develop.
