Job summary

Ronco is seeking a Field Installation Technician to install, support, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic communications systems in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania market. You will perform various technical duties supporting education and healthcare communications.

In this role, you will install and troubleshoot systems, coordinate cabling, and provide customer training while maintaining documentation and pursuing required certifications. On-site work with some remote coordination is expected.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of related low-voltage work experience.
Ability to read schematics and interpret signal flow through circuits.
Functional understanding of IT-related technologies.
Experience using basic hand tools and multimeters.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Professional self-starter who is reliable, flexible, proactive, resilient, organized, and punctual.
Computer skills to include MS Office, file management, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Responsibilities

Perform and coordinate changes in programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems.
Complete assigned project tasks and documentation in a timely manner.
Terminate cabling at the head end rack and field locations.
Attend/conduct project meetings and assist with scheduling and installation.
Communicate project progress/changes to customers and staff.
Assist in coordinating shipping of project equipment.
Provide training to customers on operation and maintenance of systems.
Attend job-related training and pursue certifications as needed.
