Job summary

Unlimited Technology is seeking a Field Installation Supervisor to lead a team installing access control and video systems across customer sites. You will guide technicians, coordinate with sales and operations, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Excellent communication, readiness to travel up to 50% within the US, and hands-on programming capabilities with UT products are essential. The role reports to the Project Manager and involves teamwork and customer-facing duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mastery of all Level III Install Technician responsibilities.
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel are high priority.
• Certifications in IP cameras and systems, such as Axis, Sony, Hanwha, Avigilon, Verkada, America Dynamics, Milestone and Exacq are high priority.
• Certifications in Cisco or other networking training for establishing open/closed LANs is a plus.
• Certifications in MS Server and deployment of Dell servers is a plus.
• Experienced in the installation of door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
• Experienced in reading and comprehending engineered drawings.
• Experienced in the marking up, or "red lining" of drawings post install.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Proficient using BlueBeam software is a high priority
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well with UT customers.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork; "can do" attitude and desire to provide best service.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; must be a self-starter and quick learner.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel 50% within the US

Responsibilities

• Ensure all UT and site-specific safety programs are followed.
• Supervise and manage the direct reports assigned.
• Always maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Ability to work independently, with very little supervision.
• Demonstrates the ability to supervise and mentor others.
• Must possess programming skills associated with the UT product line.
• Must be willing to travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Must be able to identify and resolve issues that would have a negative impact on job productivity.
• Be the projects eyes and ears for the management team.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment always.
• Communicate all activity to the job Project Manager or Program Manager in a timely manner.
• Must be willing to assist the Install team.
• Attend any product or safety training that is required.
• Complete performance reviews of the team members.
• Assist Program and Project Managers with weekly and monthly team supervisory duties.
• Identify and asses' strengths, abilities, and weakness of the team.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory and protection of materials onsite or storage/warehouse facility.
