Job summary

Unlimited Technology seeks a seasoned Field Install Technician to supervise and mentor a team, ensuring safe operations and timely project delivery. You will travel as needed and apply your expertise with IP cameras and access control hardware.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 5+ years in security installations, and certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel. Proficiency with Axis, Sony, Avigilon, Exacq and MS Office is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Mastery of all Level III Install Technician responsibilities.
• Minimum 5 years of field installation experience in the security environment.
• Certifications in Software House, AMAG, Genetec, and Lenel are high priority.
• Competencies in IP cameras and systems such as Axis, Sony, Avigilon, Exacq.
• Experience in installing door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
• Experience reading and comprehending engineered drawings.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Project, and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with UT customers.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork with a 'can do' attitude.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the direct reports assigned.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mentor other team members.
• Travel as needed, sometimes on short notice.
• Identify and resolve issues impacting productivity.
• Be the project’s eyes and ears for management.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.
• Communicate activity to Project Manager or Program Manager.
• Assist Install team and ensure safety programs are followed.
• Attend product or safety training as required.
• Complete performance reviews of team members.
• Assist PMs with weekly and monthly supervisory duties.
