Benchmark Companies seeks an Installation Field Superintendent to lead our mulch installation division, driving safety, quality, and productivity on regional crews. The role emphasizes front-line leadership, team cohesion, and continuous improvement in daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have landscape experience with management exposure, strong bilingual communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving, ensuring work meets client standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Ability to build strong professional relationships with customers.
• Self-motivated with creative problem-solving.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• 5 years landscape experience with 2 years in management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster an environment of camaraderie and teamwork.
• Train and enforce all safety procedures and policies.
• Ensure work is performed to the quality level expected by the company and clients.
• Oversee training and development of installation staff.
• Identify and create performance improvement plans for struggling crew leaders and crew members.
• Ensure no crew is dispatched without a clear scope of work and proper equipment.
• Challenge the established job plans periodically and continuously improve the plans.
• Perform pre-installation inspections for new jobs before work begins.
• Identify low performing jobs and re-plan the work to improve performance.
• Act as a liaison between field operations and administrative, customer service, and general management functions.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
