Job summary

Ambipar is seeking a Field Inspector / Professional Engineer to support FEMA disaster recovery in Puerto Rico. You will conduct field inspections, document conditions, and validate scopes of work per FEMA requirements.

The role requires a PE license in Puerto Rico, a civil engineering degree, 3+ years of inspection experience, and willingness to travel across Puerto Rico. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Active PE license in Puerto Rico.
3+ years of engineering/construction inspection experience.
Experience with FEMA Public Assistance or disaster recovery preferred.
Willingness to travel throughout Puerto Rico.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct professional field inspections and site assessments.
Evaluate infrastructure conditions within area of professional competence.
Collect measurements, photographs, and technical data for FEMA projects.
Prepare inspection reports with findings, recommendations, photographs, and data.
Coordinate with applicants, contractors, engineers, architects, and stakeholders.
Ensure inspection documentation complies with FEMA and Puerto Rico requirements.
