Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Site Inspector to support disaster recovery programs across the United States. This on-call role documents damages to public infrastructure and facilities, supporting funding determinations and recovery planning.

You will conduct field and desktop inspections, coordinate with engineers and project teams, and travel as needed. Fieldwork may be in harsh conditions, with hybrid/remote deployment depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in building inspection, construction, or related field.
• Experience collecting and organizing field data.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to travel on short notice and pass DMV check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and desktop inspections of disasters-impacted facilities.
• Document damages to buildings, roads, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Capture photos, measurements, and site conditions; prepare reports.
• Coordinate site visits with stakeholders; communicate inspection requirements.
