Job summary

WSB is seeking an Inspector, Contract Admin in Lawton, OK to perform on-site construction inspections, field observation, and contract administration for municipal, roadway, bridge, and heavy civil projects. This role supports project teams, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with plans and specifications.

You will conduct material sampling and testing, prepare daily diaries and estimates, monitor traffic control, and assist with surveying and budgets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related field.
1–10 years of construction inspection experience, depending on project scope and location.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site construction inspection and field observation for compliance.
Conduct material sampling and testing; transport samples to labs as needed.
Prepare daily diaries, inspection reports, pay estimates and backup documentation.
Monitor traffic control and contractor quality procedures.
Review material testing procedures and results for conformance.
Document contract details and project documentation; participate in meetings.
Assist with surveying, budgets, schedules and other technical activities.
Mentor early-career professionals and collaborate with engineers.
