Job summary

WSB seeks an Inspector, Contract Admin to perform field inspections, contract administration, and detailed documentation for municipal, roadway, bridge, and heavy civil projects. The role focuses on compliance with plans and specifications while supporting project teams and delivering projects on time.

You will conduct material sampling, prepare daily diaries, review testing procedures, and assist with surveying and budgets.

Qualifications

On-site construction inspection experience.
Experience reading plans, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site construction inspection and field observation for compliance with plans, specs, and contract documents.
Conduct material sampling and testing; transport samples to laboratories as needed.
Prepare and maintain detailed diaries, inspection reports, pay estimates, quantity calculations, and backup documentation.
Monitor and inspect work zone traffic control and contractor quality control procedures.
Review material testing procedures and results for conformance to contract requirements.
Document contract details, including field measurements and project documentation.
Participate in project meetings and reviews, providing technical insights and expertise.
Mentor early-career professionals and collaborate with engineers and project administrators.
