Job summary
Applied Industrial Technologies, through FCX Performance, seeks a System Engineer – Industrial Controls to design and support control systems for industrial customers. You will program PLCs, develop CAD drawings, and troubleshoot SCADA/DCS interfaces in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires field travel, strong electrical background, and hands-on experience with instruments, networks, and PID control loops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics engineering is required.
- PLC programming experience with Allen Bradley, MOSCAD or similar.
- Experience with HMI software such as Wonderware or VTSCADA is required.
Responsibilities
- Engineer control systems for industrial/contract projects including SCADA, PLC programming, CAD drawings.
- Support field technicians with interfacing field devices to DCS/SCADA systems and testing.
- Collaborate with other system engineers to manage project backlog and maintain client relations.
- Document service activity, parts, orders, and identify upgrade opportunities.
- Travel to customer sites and provide service and training as needed.
