Job summary

F3 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Field Implementation Technician to install, configure, and support POS systems for restaurant partners across your region. Training is provided to set you up for success from day one.

Expect heavy travel, on-the-road work, and nights/weekends with overtime opportunities. You will troubleshoot issues, train staff, and document all service work while maintaining a professional, customer-first attitude.

Job Details: Job Location: Atlanta, GA - Atlanta, GA 30313 (Hidden), Salary Range: $21.42 - $25.50Hourly, About the Role

Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives on the road? F3 Technologies is looking for a Field Implementation Technician to install, configure, and support point-of-sale (POS) systems for restaurant partners across your region. No prior POS or technical experience is required. We provide comprehensive, paid training to set you up for success from day one.

No two days look the same. One day you might be wiring a new POS setup for a busy restaurant; the next, you could be troubleshooting a network issue or training a team of staff on their new system. If you like variety, independence, and making a tangible impact, this role is built for you.

What to Expect: Travel and Schedule

This is a heavy travel position. You will spend the majority of your time on the road, traveling to partner locations. Open availability required including nights and weekends for appointments or travel. Night and weekend hours qualify for an additional $4.00/hour shift differential. Overtime opportunities are also regularly available.

What You Will Do

• Install, configure, and maintain POS hardware and software at partner locations
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues independently

• Document all service work, including job details, equipment used, and resolution steps

What You Bring

Required

• No prior technical or POS experience needed. We train you!
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfort with frequent travel, including extended time on the road
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Availability Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with flexibility for weekend and overnight work

Preferred

• Experience with POS systems, IT, field service, or a related technical field
• Restaurant industry experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 30 feet
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
• Ability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions
• Must reside within and be able to reliably service the assigned geographic territory. Maintaining residence within the assigned territory is an essential function of this position.

Compensation and Benefits

$21.42+/hour (depending on experience) + overtime eligibility

$4.00/hour shift differential for night and weekend hours
