Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant certifications preferred.
• Current ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector and ICC Soils Special Inspector certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, geotechnical reports, and specs.
• Knowledge of IBC, ACI, ASTM, and related standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Perform special inspections per IBC, project specs, and jurisdictional requirements.
• Inspect reinforcing steel, concrete placement, sampling, and related activities.
• Conduct soils inspections including density tests and subgrade evaluations.
• Verify compliance with approved plans and engineering reports.
• Perform field testing such as nuclear density and moisture content tests.
• Document inspection activities and prepare daily reports.
• Communicate findings to contractors, PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Identify deficiencies and document non-conforming work.
• Maintain certifications and stay current with codes and standards.
• Coordinate inspection schedules with contractors and project teams; support lab operations.
