Job summary

ExxonMobil seeks an IC&E Technician to install, maintain and repair instrumentation and electrical systems at remote facilities in the Permian region. You will troubleshoot PLC/controls and networks, ensuring safe operations and reliability.

Role requires 2 years IC&E experience or an associate degree, and the ability to lift 50 pounds; willingness to work overtime and collaboratively with teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an IC&E Technician or an Associate’s Degree in Instrumentation, Controls or Electrical Systems.
• NM Journeyman’s license is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work OT when needed and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and electrical systems on remote facilities.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, transmitters, MCCs, Soft Starters, VFDs.
• Troubleshoot and repair control/communication networks within plant (Ethernet/IP, switches, fiber, radio).
• Work safely around equipment; participate in PSMS and PTW processes.
• Maintain and repair rotating and fixed equipment (pumps, motors, generators) across varying outdoor conditions.
