Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks an Instrument and Electrical Technician I to join the I&E Team in field operations. The role covers design, installation, programming, maintenance and troubleshooting of oil and gas facility equipment.

You will collaborate with SCADA, IT field support, and Operations staff, with emphasis on safe work in demanding environments, including high temperatures and outdoor sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates or technical degree in instrumentation, automation, or process controls preferred.
• Oil and gas automation experience and instrument knowledge are expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, program, maintain and troubleshoot oil and gas facility equipment.
• Interface with SCADA, RTU/PLC systems and HMI programs during field operations.
• Collaborate with IT, operations and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Adhere to safety standards in challenging environments (high temp, noise, outdoors).
