Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a field-based HVAC service technician to support a defined commercial market. You will commission, troubleshoot, repair, and startup HVAC systems at customer sites, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to diagnose and fix equipment.

As a key on-site contact, you will coordinate with project leaders, follow blueprints, and ensure safety and quality while flexibly supporting overtime, travel, and occasional overnight stays as required by

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or stated.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and field handheld devices.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• EPA Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems at customer sites.
• Serve as the on-site company contact and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use blueprints/engineering specs and hand tools to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Coordinate with team leader and customers to understand requirements and forecast issues.
• Maintain safety standards and adapt to overtime or overnight travel as needed.
