Job summary

Alliance Group is seeking a full-time Heating Service Technician based out of our Essex Junction, VT operations center. This role involves field-based maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems including boilers and burner systems.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for excellent customer service. Compensation is negotiable, and the company welcomes transparent conversations with qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years HVAC experience required (residential OR commercial).
• NH and/or VT Gas license preferred.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• Background verification and pre-employment examination will be required.

Responsibilities

• Determine diverse service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations for HVAC/R systems.
• Safely perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance routines.
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating current issues, timelines, and resolutions to customers.
• Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, fuel type, measurements, and pictures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and company vehicle.
