Job summary

Tech24/ TMR Services is seeking an HVAC, Commercial Kitchen Equipment & Refrigeration Technician in Baton Rouge, LA. You will drive to customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various commercial kitchen systems.

The role requires self-sufficiency, strong technical skills, and excellent customer service. Applicants should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, dependability, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills and dependable, able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mechanically inclined; eager to learn new techniques and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect equipment and related components for safe operation.
• Communicate with customers and branch staff about repair status and schedules.
• Complete service tickets following company procedures.
• Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are available.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
• Serve as a role model and promote company values.
• Adhere to safety and company policies.
