Job summary

Tech24 is hiring Hot & Cold Technicians to service commercial cooking and refrigeration systems in Long Beach, CA. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment while delivering outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in foodservice or refrigeration repair, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting skills. This role includes on-site work, on-call rotation, and company benefits such as a vehicle and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Own industry standard hand tools.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
• EPA Universal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
