Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Controls Technician to install, commission and service building control systems on-site across diverse facilities. You will diagnose complex issues, document work, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

You will mentor technicians, provide on-site training, and work with customers to identify improvements and retrofits. A strong HVAC controls background and six years in the BAS field are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the BAS Controls HVAC industry.
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex control systems malfunctions across multiple languages of system software.
• Provide field proposals for retrofits, upgrades and enhancements.
• Mentor and train technicians on building automation systems.
• Ensure thorough documentation and safe operation on site.
