Job summary

Modular Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist II to support health, safety, and environmental programs on active construction sites.

This field-based role collaborates with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and client representatives to promote a safe work environment and implement project-based safety programs. The candidate will coach junior team members, lead safety meetings, and contribute to job hazard analyses while maintaining compliance with company and

Qualifications

• 4-year related degree with 2 years' experience or 5 years relevant experience and CHST.
• Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain effective working relationships.
• Support and promote the safety program and local incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
• Implement project-based safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
• Contribute to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
• Coach and teach duties and processes to junior team members.
• Prepare and deliver safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
• Contribute to development and review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and control measures.
• Support incident, near-miss, and claim investigations and communications.
• Maintain knowledge of company HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
• Model HSE goals to ensure a safe and productive environment.
• Assist in developing routine HSE project plans and specifications.
• Provide input supporting audits, inspections, evaluations, and incident investigations.
