Rosendin is seeking an entry-level HSE Specialist I to support health, safety, and environmental programs on active construction sites in Sterling, VA. The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and client representatives to promote a safe work environment.

You will assist in site inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations, and training, contributing to planning, audits, and safety initiatives to meet standards.

Qualifications

• 4 year related degree OR high school diploma with 4 years related experience.
• OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, STS-C.
• Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams, client representatives, regulatory agencies, and medical facilities to maintain relationships.
• Support and promote the company's safety program and incident prevention initiatives to reduce risk behaviors.
• Assist in implementing project-based-safety programs aligned with strategic goals.
• Contribute to pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.
• Help prepare and deliver safety meetings and training to enhance hazard awareness.
• Contribute to the development and review of job hazard analyses to identify risks and controls.
• Support incident, near-miss, and claim investigations and communications.
• Maintain knowledge of HSE standards, programs, and objectives.
