Job summary

Blackbeard Operating, LLC is seeking an experienced HSE Field Specialist to support field operations across West Texas. This field-based role reports to the HSE Manager and will work across production, facilities, drilling, completions and construction.

You will lead safety initiatives, perform hazard assessments, supervise incident investigations, and ensure compliance with OSHA, TBRC rules and environmental requirements while coaching crews and contractors on best practices.

Qualifications

• Education and training related to health, safety and the environment.
• 3+ years of HSE experience in oil and gas field operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HSE audits, incident review and record keeping.
• Strong communication and ability to work with multi-discipline teams.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass drug screening.
• Willingness to travel across West Texas locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives in the field and coach personnel on best practices.
• Perform hazard identifications, field inspections and audits.
• Review Job Safety Analyses and lead pre-job meetings and permits.
• Support H2S program, contractor safety and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state and federal environmental requirements.
