Matrix Project Services is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support environmental health and sustainability efforts by properly managing hazardous, non-hazardous, and special waste streams, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and maintaining necessary records.

The role includes field testing, audits, risk assessments, and preparing documentation for inspectors, with responsibilities spanning SPCC and SWPPP plans, spills response, and ongoing environmental programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or chemistry.

Responsabilités

• Manage hazardous, non-hazardous, and special waste streams.
• Perform routine inspections of waste accumulation facilities.
• Manage SPCC and SWPPP inspections and materials needed for compliance.
• Respond as field lead to spills and releases.
• Prepare and submit all required compliance reports/certifications.
