Job summary

Firstline Road is seeking an Environmental Field Supervisor to oversee on-site environmental projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while promoting safety and efficiency.

You will lead field activities, coordinate with clients and contractors, manage regulatory requirements, and respond to hazardous materials, spills, and site incidents. A strong communication skillset and OSHA/HAZWOPER training are preferred, along with a valid driver’s license for mobility.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising environmental field activities in construction or environmental services.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous materials handling, spill response, and site safety protocols.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to take immediate corrective actions on safety issues.
• Valid driver’s license and safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all work activities in strict accordance with company policies, site-specific requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain current knowledge of hazardous material spill response, site control procedures, decontamination processes, waste handling, and emergency response protocols.
• Verify that all necessary training, personal protective equipment, safety documentation, and site controls are in place prior to commencing work.
• Conduct or assign job safety briefings, ensuring all team members are informed of safety procedures and addressing any unsafe conditions, behaviors, near misses, or incidents promptly.
• Coordinate professionally with clients, contractors, transporters, disposal facilities, and regulatory or public agencies to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Monitor work conditions continuously and halt or modify activities when unsafe conditions or behaviors are identified to ensure a safe working environment.
