Job summary

Michels Energy Holdings seeks a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator to lead site visits, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response. You will partner with operations to communicate and improve HSE programs while providing trainings and new hire orientations.

The role travels nationwide to support safety on legacy, renewable, and energy transition projects across the United States, with flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a safety role and 5 years in oil or gas.
• Experience in building substations preferred.
• BCSP and/or CUSP credentialing is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% across the United States.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs; conduct meetings and trainings.
• Provide new hire orientations and safety trainings.
• Travel to projects across the United States as needed.
