Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to deliver hands-on health, safety, and environmental support across renewable energy and offshore construction projects. The ideal candidate will work with project teams, contractors, and site personnel to ensure compliance with HSE requirements in high-risk environments.

We are looking for candidates with offshore wind, oil & gas, marine, or heavy construction experience.

Qualifications

Relevant HSE qualifications and field experience.
Experience in offshore/renewable energy environments is preferred.
Ability to conduct site inspections and safety briefings.
Willingness to travel and work on project sites as required.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day HSE advice and support to project teams and site personnel.
Monitor site activities for safety compliance with HSE procedures and project requirements.
Conduct HSE inspections, audits, safety observations, and workplace assessments.
Identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
Review RAMS, JSA/JHA, method statements and safe systems of work.
Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, inductions, and pre-job briefings.
Monitor PPE, LOTO, working at height, lifting operations, electrical safety, confined space and other high-risk work.
Investigate incidents and track corrective actions through to completion.
