Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking a Safety Specialist to partner with the Safety Manager and drive regional safety objectives. You will work with operations leaders and field crews to reduce injuries, incidents, and environmental releases, performing assessments, incident investigations, training, and workers’ compensation coordination.

The role requires travel to regional sites (75-80%), is field-based with a 14/7 rotation, and involves ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in an occupational health and safety role.
• Experience supporting field operations in oilfield services, mining, construction, industrial, or comparable high-hazard environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Experience with incident investigation and loss control techniques.
• Experience developing or delivering safety training to field personnel.
• Experience with safety management software and recordkeeping.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety and health assessments across regional sites, inspecting records, equipment, and facilities for regulatory compliance.
• Identify loss exposures, evaluate risk, and implement corrective action plans; audit effectiveness.
• Maintain regulatory compliance documentation and reporting under OSHA, MSHA, and DOT requirements.
• Maintain customer safety qualification platforms such as Avetta, ISNetWorld, and Veriforce.
