Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a People (HR) Generalist to partner with field leaders and drive people strategy across assigned business units. You will champion culture, manage employee relations, coach leaders, and ensure seamless People execution across operations.

This role requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field and 5+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience. Travel up to 25% to branch locations is required and Spanish fluency is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, People/Human Resources, or related field; 5+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution with empathy and sound judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; capable of coaching leaders at all levels.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred) and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to align People strategies with business goals and performance.
• Coach leaders on employee development, performance management, talent enablement, change management, and conflict resolution.
• Investigate employee concerns with cross-functional partners to reach fair resolutions and ensure compliance.
• Manage day-to-day People operations and data accuracy in Workday and other HR systems across changes and promotions.
• Design onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives aligned with Sunruns values and culture.
• Lead special projects and continuous improvement within the People team.
