Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks an outgoing HR professional to shape employee experience and culture for a growing, PE-backed services company. This role is field-facing and not desk-bound, with on-site Jacksonville work and 20% travel between Ocala locations.

You will own recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and benefits messaging to support a hands-on blue-collar workforce, collaborating with leaders and technicians alike.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and approachable with hands-on field workforce
• Strong communicator who explains HR topics clearly
• Self-starter who adapts quickly
• Experience in recruiting, onboarding or engagement with blue-collar workforce

Responsibilities

• Drive hiring for field technicians and corporate roles; review resumes, coordinate assessments, and schedule interviews.
• Bring a new perspective and more structure to onboarding for new hires.
• Build a stronger employee experience and help people feel connected to the company.
• Help employees understand the value of their benefits and drive enrollment.
• Manage day-to-day HR processes with PEO support behind the scenes.
