Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Field HR Generalist to implement corporate HR initiatives and recruit for local branches. The role requires handling confidential information, advising management on staffing and policy compliance, and working with PeopleSoft HRMS. Travel to field locations is expected.

The position reports to the Field HR Manager and involves partnering with operations to meet staffing needs and uphold HR standards across states and regions.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Requires 3–5 years of HR Recruiting or related HR Generalist experience; SHRM certification a plus
• Requires ability to speak, read, and understand instructions and policy documents
• Requires leadership skills and the ability to work with little supervision
• Requires strong knowledge of HR technical subjects; proficiency with PeopleSoft HRMS
• Should be computer literate and able to prepare documents, spreadsheets and presentations
• Requires willingness to travel

Responsibilities

• Communicate and deploy corporate HR initiatives.
• Recruit for HMSHost branch/region and analyze local market conditions for effective recruiting.
• Ensure compliant administration of HR policies per state, federal and company guidelines; maintain confidentiality.
• Handle HR activities such as file maintenance, compliance logs, and PeopleSoft data entry.
• Collaborate with management on staffing levels and operational data (turnover, wage rates, diversity, sales).
• Maintain company posting requirements and systems.
