Avolta (including Dufry, HMSHost and Hudson affiliates) is seeking a Field HR Generalist to support HR policies and procedures across branches. The role requires partnering with operations managers, leading HR initiatives, and providing counsel on performance, engagement and discipline.

The Generalist will lead branch projects, help recruit and orient new hires, deliver training, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Travel is expected in national/area scopes.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Requires 3–5 years HR Recruiting or related HR Generalist experience.
• SHRM certification planning provides foundation for performance in the role.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents; interact with associates.
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with HR and business software; comfortable with documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Advise operations managers on employee discipline, performance, retention, engagement, rewards and recognition.
• Gather, analyze and monitor HR metrics to forecast staffing needs.
• Source, screen, interview, offer, hire and orient candidates; build community relationships for applicant pool.
• Develop and deliver new hire orientation and required policy trainings.
• Maintain HR records and data entry across systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).
• Understand and ensure compliance with airport/landlord policies and procedures.
