Job summary

A local educational institution in Connecticut is seeking a Field Hockey Coach for the Fall 2025 season at Har-Bur Middle School. The ideal candidate must have a valid First Aid and CPR certification, a coaching certificate from the State of Connecticut, and must have completed a course on Concussion & Head Injury. Previous coaching or playing experience in field hockey is preferred. This role reports to the Athletic Director and is subject to stipends according to the ATA contract.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current/valid First Aid and Adult CPR certification.
• State of Connecticut Coaching certificate required.
• Completed Coaching Competencies Certification Course Mod. 15 for Concussion & Head Injury.
• Previous coaching/playing experience in the sport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop student-athletes in field hockey.
• Attend all practices and games as scheduled.
