ReNEW Schools is seeking coaches for Fall Athletic Coaching Positions for the 2026-2027 school year at Bulkeley High School in Hartford, Connecticut. This role requires a focus on the ongoing development of student-athletes in various sports.
Ideal candidates will have at least three years of coaching experience, a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, and hold necessary certifications. The positions are part-time, with salaries based on the HFT contract.

Within the framework of the entire athletic program, provides ongoing development and improvement of coaching student‑athletes through coordination, planning, evaluation and implementation of programs. In addition, help each student achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship and an increased level of self‑esteem.
Current teachers on staff must have a Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. Must hold a current Coaching Permit issued by the CT State Department of Education, a valid First Aid & CPR certification, and a current Concussion Training or Refresher Course (Module 15). Must complete Mandated Reporter Training and any other required district trainings upon hire.
Salary in accordance with HFT contract. Appendix B. Extra Pay for Extra Duty. Section I: Coaching and Physical Education.
