Irving Oil Ltd. in Barre, VT, is seeking a Field Helper to support a licensed Fuel Delivery Driver in safely transporting petroleum products. You will perform physical labor, assist with loading and unloading, and help with on-site tasks while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in commercial transportation, and strong math, attention to detail, customer service, and safety focus. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of Commercial Transportation experience.
• Strong emphasis on safety and detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with items that need to be loaded off the trucks.
• Assist with manual labor components including lifting, carrying, and delivering items.
• Assist the driver with all equipment needed throughout the day.
• Assist with holding and stabilizing items as required.

As a Field Helper, you will work alongside a licensed Fuel Delivery Driver to support the safe and efficient transport of petroleum products. Your goal will be to assist the driver by performing physical labor, paying attention to safety protocols, and a willingness to assist with both vehicle operations and on-site tasks.
