Job summary

Push-Inc seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator- Utility Construction to safely operate backhoes, mini excavators and related gear for laying fiber, copper, and power lines. You will read prints, maintain equipment, and mentor newer operators in a field setting across rural and urban sites.

Requirements include CDL preferred, passing pre-employment screenings, and a strong teamwork mindset in a fast-paced outdoor environment. 100% fieldwork with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Field experience operating heavy equipment around utilities.
• Experience reading prints and schematics.
• Ability to train and mentor other operators.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe) safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment used in the field.
• Dig around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Provide training and assistance to coworkers learning to operate equipment.
• Assist with basic labor tasks as required.
