Job summary

JKL Associates Inc., a Division of PUSH Inc., seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows and related gear for fiber and utility installs across rural and urban sites.

The role requires field experience with digging around utilities, the ability to read prints, mentor teammates, and travel as needed. CDL preferred; outdoor work in all weather is expected.

Qualifications

• Field experience operating heavy equipment around utilities.
• Ability to read prints and schematics.
• Experience training co-workers.
• Valid driver's license; Class A CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Dig around utilities and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Provide training to co-workers learning to operate.
• Assist with labor tasks and conduit/duct/cable placement.
• Tow vehicle operation to transport equipment to sites.
