Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a team of Operators to support the Mechanical Scope of our solar field construction project at the Krum, Texas site. This field-based role emphasizes safety, reliability and teamwork on a dynamic project team.

You will operate equipment such as blade, dozer, loader, excavator, forklift/telehandler, backhoe, roller and skidsteer, perform routine maintenance, and follow procedures while coordinating with supervisors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education required.
• Minimum 1 year of construction equipment operation experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and any required endorsements.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate from instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (blade, dozer, loader, excavator, forklift/telehandler, backhoe, roller, skidsteer) on site.
• Follow safety regulations and report field decisions with documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling and cleaning equipment.
• Assist with basic measurements, load charts and on-site coordination.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and maintain strong teamwork with crew.
