Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Technician, Health and Safety in Cameron, LA. The role reports to the Health & Safety Manager and focuses on implementing safety fundamentals in the field, serving as the on-site contact for safety questions and activities.

You will spend time in the field conducting inspections, mentoring workers, and coordinating safety reviews. This position requires the ability to work overtime and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Health & Safety in production environments.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work systems and mentoring to resolve issues.
• Strong leadership shown in HSE roles, LNG/petrochemical experience a plus.
• Knowledge of OSHA general industry and/or construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, implement and manage safety policies and procedures.
• Perform field safety inspections, audits and hazard assessments.
• Serve as field contact for Health & Safety questions and activities.
• Mentor workers on safe practices and enforce safety-first mentality.
• Participate in incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Support Emergency Response processes and site safety committee.
• Monitor contractor activities for safe work techniques.
