Venture Global LNG is seeking a Maintenance Technician, Mechanical for its Plaquemines facility. You will execute safe mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance, work with operations and maintenance teams, and support commissioning and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of maintenance mechanical technician experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, or petrochemical facilities.
• Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards (API, ASME, NBIC).
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Ability to inspect and maintain rotating equipment and cryogenic systems.
• Experience with scaffolding, welding, fabrication, and rigging.
• TWIC card in good standing and valid driver license.
• High school diploma or GED; technical/mechanical certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Execute mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Serve as SME for mechanical systems and coordinate with operations and maintenance teams.
• Prepare job safety analyses and permits ahead of execution.
• Mentor peers, track daily progress, and manage timesheets per VG LNG policies.
• Supervise contractors and report quality or non-conformities to supervisors.
• Support FAT/SAT tests, commissioning, and startup activities with EPC teams.
• Participate in HAZOPs, P&ID reviews, and 3D model reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE processes and maintenance standards.
