Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support operations across the Central region.

This field-facing role will partner with operational leaders, conduct workplace assessments and investigations, and implement practical preventive actions to protect teams as they go home safely every day. You'll travel up to 50% and work remotely within the East region, collaborating with Care Centers and operations to translate safety requirements into actionable practices at the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant safety experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution or multi-site environments.
• Experience with workplace inspections, incident investigations and job-hazard analysis.
• Working knowledge of applicable H&S requirements and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Operations to support safety across Care Centers.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and job-hazard assessments; identify hazards and recommend controls.
• Investigate incidents and vehicle accidents; support investigations and prevent recurrence.
• Support safe return-to-work planning with Operations and HR teams.
• Help translate safety policies and programs into practical actions for teams.
