Job summary

Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support operations across the Central region from a remote East footprint. The role partners with regional leaders, conducts workplace assessments and investigations, and drives practical preventive actions while ensuring timely follow-through.

Travel up to 50% and direct collaboration with Care Centers will be required to translate safety requirements into actionable field practices and measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Experience in safety inspections, incident investigations and risk controls.
• Ability to communicate safety concepts to leaders and frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations to identify hazards and practical controls.
• Conduct workplace assessments, inspections and job-hazard analyses.
• Investigate incidents and support return-to-work plans.
• Support safety programs, data tracking and regional safety improvements.
