Job summary

Clean Harbors in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Health and Safety Representative to provide expert health, safety and environmental guidance for sites and regions. You will promote a strong safety culture, develop policy, train staff, and drive corrective actions across the program.

Responsibilities include supervising safety leadership, conducting investigations, coordinating training, and maintaining audit-ready safety records for assigned projects and sites throughout North America.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations.
• Experience leading safety programs and training sessions.
• Ability to write safety policies and procedures clearly.
• Willing to work field-based 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coach supervisory teams to enhance safety leadership and performance.
• Provide OSHA compliance guidance and address hazards across sites.
• Lead investigations, safety meetings, and safe work procedures.
• Promote a safety-minded culture and ensure training completion.
• Assist management with safety program directives and audits.
• Maintain safety records and prepare performance reports.
