Job summary

GSK seeks a Health Informatics Manager in Market Access to leverage HIT resources across multiple US regions. You will align clinical workflows, data insights, and EHR platforms with customer needs, ensuring governance and compliance while driving adoption of HIT tools.

In this field-based role, you will educate health-system partners, coordinate with internal teams, and support patient identification, care coordination, and operational efficiency using major EHR platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of health informatics or EHR-related roles (clinical informatics, EHR analyst, or EHR super user).
• Experience with inpatient or ambulatory clinical workflows and health IT, including front-end use of major EHR platforms such as Athenahealth, Epic, Oracle Cerner, Meditech, OncoEMR, or iKnowMed.
• Customer-facing experience assessing needs and collaborating across teams with hands-on knowledge of EHR products, clinical decision support, patient identification, order sets, care pathways, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with health-system stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align HIT resources with customer needs and workflows.
• Assess customer workflows, EHR readiness, data insights, and barriers to identify opportunities for improved patient identification, care delivery, and efficiency.
• Educate customers on approved EHR-enabled resources and support their evaluation for potential use.
• Contribute HIT expertise to account planning and customer engagement, sharing insights, risks, opportunities, and trends with internal partners.
• Serve as a HIT SME across Market Access and other GSK units, coordinating customer support and providing field input on scalable tools.
• Ensure customer ownership of clinical, technical, implementation, privacy, security, and governance decisions under policy.
