Job summary

Hartnell in Arizona is seeking farm laborers to perform manual field labor, including hand harvesting and packing of mixed greens and other vegetables. Work is outdoors in fields with seasonal conditions; heaviest lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional operation of harvest equipment may be required.

Employer provides housing and meals, with weekly transportation to nearby town for errands. Two months of harvest experience is preferred and safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Two months harvest experience in the listed crops.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual field labor including hand harvesting, trimming, packing, and loading.
• Use harvesting knives and hand tools to cut produce and inspect quality.
• Operate tractors or harvest equipment as directed.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
