Job summary

Prestigecorp is seeking a Grading Foreman to supervise field operations for earthwork, roadway, and grading projects in North Carolina. You will directly manage grading crews, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.

The role requires reading grading plans and using grading equipment, with strong leadership and communication to liaise with supervisors, clients, and vendors. Expect day or night shifts, including weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of grading foreman or related experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and grading plans.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise grading crews and coordinate daily activities.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, teammates, contractors, clients, and vendors.
• Operate and supervise heavy equipment for grading and site development.
• Read, interpret, and execute grading plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor soil conditions, surveying requirements, and excavation work.
• Ensure compliance with production and quantity requirements.
• Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and on-site training.
• Report daily work progress, materials, and site conditions.
