Job summary
Veolia is seeking a GIS Analyst to support the City of Holyoke, focusing on the development, maintenance, and operation of the GIS. The role requires hands-on fieldwork across Holyoke using GPS devices, with proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in GIS or related field.
- 1–3 years GIS experience, preferably in utilities/municipal/enviro setting.
- Experience digitizing as‑builts and editing geodatabases.
- Experience with water/wastewater/stormwater data is a plus.
- Experience with municipal infrastructure data preferred.
- Basic scripting (Python/Arcade) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Digitize, edit, and maintain GIS data from as‑builts and GPS field data.
- Update GIS databases daily to reflect infrastructure assets.
- Perform GPS field data collection using handheld equipment.
- Create maps and run spatial analyses for internal teams and projects.
- Provide GIS support and staff training as needed.
- Adhere to data standards; assist QA/QC and documentation.
- Assist integration of GIS with other systems.
- Walk extended distances in the city to collect field data.
