Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a GIS Analyst to support the development, maintenance, and operation of the City of Holyoke GIS. The role emphasizes ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online proficiency, field data collection with GPS, and data management across municipal infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates will handle digitizing, QA/QC, and map production, with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather and occasional office data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field and 1–3 years of GIS experience.
• Experience with digitizing as-builts and editing geodatabases.
• Experience with water, wastewater, or stormwater collection systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Digitize, edit, and maintain GIS data from as-builts and field collection.
• Update GIS databases daily to reflect infrastructure assets.
• Conduct GPS field data collection using handheld or backpack units.
• Produce maps and conduct spatial analyses for internal departments.
